Downloading Zune software? Not your normal question perhaps?
I have a new Windows 7 computer and had the Zune software on my old computer. All music was transferred to the new computer from an external hard drive but no software, including Zune. Now when I attempt to download Zune software onto my new machine I am forced to sign in (because I have the same email address as I did before). Even when attempting to simply "sign up" as soon as I enter my email I am forced to "sign in." This causes them to think that I already have the software (apparently) and because of this I am not given the option to download. Logically one would say to use a different email address and sign in as a guest (which from another Zune transfer issue discussion I came across I may need to figure out how to do this anyway), but I really do not want to use a different email address and do not feel that I should need to. Surely I am not the only one on the face of the planet who has needed to re-install the software on a new computer and who happened to retain the same email address, however I have not seen this particular problem addressed. There are many discussions concerning transfers to new computers, Windows 7, etc..., but I have discovered no help for this particular issue.
