Are school ids acceptable ids for airline travel?

im only 15 and im flying (within the US) alone on a united flight soon. i don't have my license or anything...all i have is my high school id. it says my DOB and name on it so i was wondering if that will get me through the checkpoints or do i somehow have to get an id from the state?
